While watching Outrageous Food this morning which I conveniently had on my DVR I witnessed this beautiful creature. Pummple Cake! Better known as Piecaken since you can do many flavor combinations to suit your needs.
I have yet to try making this beast but I couldn’t help myself but to share this with you. I am determined to create this masterpiece for the next family gathering. Boy will they be surprises. Behold the Piecaken. 
You can definetly make everything from scratch if desired. This we will call the simple quick version. Enjoy!
2-9″ round cake pans that are 3 inches deep
1 vanilla cake box mix and the ingredients the box calls for
1 chocolate cake box mix and the ingredients the box calls for
1 store bought or home made 6 inch pumpkin pie
1 store bought or home made 6 inch apple pie
Sprinkles
Store bought or home made butter cream frosting
Take one chocolate box cake and make the batter according to instructions.
Pour half the batter in a 9” round cake pan. On top of that, put the pumpkin pie. Pour the rest of the cake batter on top of that and bake it according to the box instructions. Take one vanilla box cake mix and make the batter according to instructions on the back of the box. Pour half the batter in a 9” cake pan. On top of that, put your apple crumb pie. Pour the rest of the cake batter on top of that and bake it according to the box instructions. Once both cakes are done, wait until they cool and then put icing the top of the chocolate cake and place the vanilla cake on top. Then frost the whole cake together. Sprinkle with sprinkles if you desire.
